The Courtyard Project - Completion early 2011
A quadrangle of seven new build luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom “English Farm Cottages”, on a plot of land previously occupied by redundant farm buildings and surrounded on three sides by crop fields. Homes within The Courtyard, which are accessed through an arched entrance, feature cutting edge sustainability features including energy efficient under floor heating, wood burning stoves, rainwater harvesting and the highest levels of insulation.
At the same time we are at pains to retain the rural feel of this new build project, we have sourced re-claimed bricks which date back to the turn of the century, we will re-use timbers from the original barn complex and will fit timber windows with stone cills, quarried locally. |
Hay Barn Project - Completion late 2011
The Hay Barn, a detached five bedroom, four bathroom barn style new build house set in quarter of an acre of land will be built on the site of an existing Nissen Hut dating back to the 1950’s. Modelled on 18c hay barns in the local area, the property will have three large, two story arched windows on two elevations providing spectacular views to the River Tees and the Cleveland Hills beyond.
As the property is not yet built we are offering potential buyers the opportunity to have an input in the design of the interior room layouts, kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and any other internal features.
